CPU Frequency Scaling under Linux

Example for setting the frequency on a dual-core system:
cpufreq-set -c 0 --freq 2000MHz
cpufreq-set -c 1 --freq 2000MHz

Read out current frequency by doing
cat /proc/cpuinfo
