boinccmd --set_run_mode always

for starting and

boinccmd --set_run_mode never

for stopping.

    options snd-hda-intel model=mbp55
The file can be opened by running: gksudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf
  2. Save the file and reboot the computer
